Psych-Yo trick Spinosa
EFFECT: A spectator selects a card and the magician says that he will find it in a most unusual way. The card is placed back in the deck and the spectator is asked to shuffle the deck thoroughly. As the shuffle is taking place the magician introduces a small box and places it on the ground in the audiences' full view. The cards are retrieved from the spectator, shuffled and haphazardly dropped in the box. The magician states that he will use his trusty yo-yo to find the card. After the performer introduces the yo-yo he can do a series of his favorite tricks. Then the magician states that he will need one more secret ingredient as he reaches in his mouth to grab the chewing gum he has been enjoying throughout the show. He then places the chewing gum on the side of the yo-yo. The performer throws the yo-yo into a sleeper, and while spinning on the end of the string it is placed on the bottom of the box. A silence moves over the crowd as the yo-yo is pulled out of the box with the selected card stuck to the chewing gum on the side of the yo-yo!"
